As someone who owns a LOT of guitars bought over the course of 30+ years. I've never owned a Telecaster/T-Type one for the simple reason that I could never get over how ugly they look :p. I mean, I liked the tones but I could'nt get past that look and buy the guitar. I'm into superstrats, Ibanez's, Jacksons/Charvels, Kramers. ESP's and the like, guitars with lines & ergonomics & sorry but the Tele is'nt one of those.
Then I came across this one. The Aria J-TL Pro II and man, it actually has visual appeal (imo). It's a way more streamlined and ergonomic design, is put together very well with excellent fit & finish, sounds amazing, looks awesome, plays beautifully. flawless fretwork not usually seen at this price point, comfortable fast neck, very decent pickups (not thin or tinny sounding at all like some Tele's can be) and all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend his guitar if you want something with Tele features & tone minus the ugliness. Quick hassle free delivery from Bajaao & it came really well set-up. Not sure if it was the factory setup or Bajaao's but either way it was excellent. Thank you!
