Dunlop 482R Tortex PB Jazz Picks - Pack of 6
After being on a pick hunt for so long, trying out various picks including Dunlop Nylon Jazz III - black stiffo, Dunlop John Petrucci Signature, Dunlop Tortex gauges .50, .60, .73, .88, 1.00, Dunlop Tortex Jazz III XL 1.00mm, Joyo nylon, Daddario Black Ice .80, Gibson Celluloid Heavy & Extra Heavy, and several other ones; I finally found this pick that I am satisfied with. Aggressive attack, snappy, and satisfying to play in all pickup positions. The size is quite handy as it snuggly fits into your index and thumb. It's ideal for lead picking, shredding, and strumming. I like the 1.00 mm gauge and I'll be trying the 1.14 mm once it's available on BAJAAO. The final two would be the ones above. Love these picks. Has a great memory but the only downside to them is that they wear out sooner than their counterparts but that wouldn't be an issue. The tone is the most important part in addition to proper playing. Picks do really make or break your tone and also your playing. They are also available in white but I'm unsure if BAJAAO has them. (All the above-mentioned details concern the electric guitar - Solid Body). I have a PRS SE CE Standard 24 Satin which I also bought from BAJAAO. I use a hybrid 9 - 46 string gauge.
